If we need someone reinforcing us, what exactly is motivating us?
It’s difficult nowadays to try new things, choose a career or even leave the house without worrying about what others think. It’s this expectation that can greatly influence the decisions we make and what we prioritize.
So if we need someone reinforcing us, what exactly is motivating us?
Is is our values, interests, significant other, our family or friends?
Maybe there is one specific person whose opinions and feelings matter to you the most. They motivate you to follow your goals and dreams.
So who motivates you the most?
Who inspires you?
Who in your life encourages you?
Who supports you?
There are people in your life who support you, even if they haven’t said so yet. While we do want to consider other’s opinions and feelings, it shouldn’t stop us completely from following through with our goals or decisions.
Having someone believe in you in such a great feeling, but you should also believe in yourself. You are capable and some day, your goals will be accomplished. You can make decisions without worrying about other’s opinions or meeting their expectations.
