Saying No

When is it time to say no?

People who come to you for help or support. It’s great to help them and encourage your friends. Unfortunately, it might become something they expect from you. All those promises and commitments begin to pile. Harder and harder to to remember and keep track of. It’s takes plenty of confidence to say no to a friend in need. Yet when it’s taking a toll on your health, it’s time to sit and reflect.

Too many responsibilities and commitments could make someone impatient, tired or sometimes even resentful. It can lead to stress, anxiety and a lowed immune system.

Just keep that in mind the next time people ask you for help or when asking others…

I’m hoping to become a writer, playwright & novelist. I'm also considering becoming a Historian or librarian at this stage in life. (2017). It's almost 2018! One of my short stories was published in METIOR Magazine at Murdoch University in 2016. I'm looking for opportunities in performance writing and publishing short stories in literary magazines.
